what to expect
A Warm Welcome At Heritage, you can expect to be greeted with a warm welcome! Our atmosphere is relaxed and dress is casual, so feel free to come as you are. We don't single out our guests - you won't have to say anything or give anything. We do provide plenty of information on Heritage's events and ministries, plus you'll have opportunities to connect with others. You can even enjoy a good cup of coffee and conversation in the café. In our bulletin, you will find the "steps card" so that you can tell us more about yourself. We know how important first impressions are, so we make every effort to help our guests feel comfortable and welcome.
An Encounter With God At Heritage, you can expect to encounter God and experience His life-changing touch. Our worship services typically last 75 minutes. Kids join us at the beginning of each service with about 15 minutes of praise music, and then they're released to the Kids Church. There's a short time of welcome & greeting after which the Bible-based teaching follows. We wrap up our time together with more worship music and a time that we call "Giving Back to God." This is a time to respond to the Holy Spirit and receive prayer, if you so desire.
A Quality Children's Program
At Heritage, you can expect that your children will be ministered to in a caring way. After checking in at the children’s registration table, we have our kids stay with their families to worship in the adult service for the first 15 minutes of music. Then they’re dismissed for Children’s Church (nursery through grade 5), where they experience the God that loves them in a safe and secure space filled with energy, movement, fun, cheering, interactive learning, prayer and friendship, complete with a Bible lesson.
Feel free to keep your children with you or take advantage of our outstanding Children's Ministry. For our youngest guests, we provide quality care in our Infant and Toddler Nurseries. We provide personal pagers so that we can let you know if your child needs you. Contact us at heritagekids@marysvillehcc.org for more information on our children's ministry.
